Basic reality of the NFL:

There are four critical positions in an NFL team: Owner, General Manager, Personnel Director, and Head Coach. Any sort of a major problem at one of those positions, and no amount of money or anything else will help. The Redskins have recently jettisoned the worst and biggest problem which the NFL has ever seen, Vinny Cerrato, who personally ruined two of the leagues premier teams, the Forty Niners and the Redskins:

Possibly... It starts to sound like you could be awfully dumb and still be the smartest guy in the room in NC these days.

It is traditionally a red state after all so a dumb Democrat can seem pretty smart compared to the Republicans.

Matt Millen however, makes Cerrato look like Einstein. Just look at the Lions post-Matt.
