I just created (I love that word) this flower in psp...I'm learning new stuff daily (well...weekly) and I'm soooo proud of myself. Just wanted to share this with you all.
Very cool!!

I really like the leaves.
Ok, how did you do it? I'm really interested in learning!
Very nice. Have you learned to make tubes yet. I remember when I first got psp, I must of made at least 300 of them.

Oh. I guess I misunderstood Onyxelle's post. I was thinking she did that while on PCP.
onyxelle .... Nice thing to see first thing in the morning. Thanks.
Cool Onyx. I really like the texture over the yellow flower center (whatever those thingies are called).
A recomendation... You should look into getting a copy of Photoshop or Corel Painter. PSP is cheaper than either, but it takes longer to use and you don't get the same quality. If you're not interested in sinking the money into Photoshop (it's absurdly and needlessly expensive) go with Corel Painter. The quality is right on par with Photoshop and it costs considerably less. Actually, I know a lot of people who think Painter is better. But there's more free information and people out there who can help you with Photoshop.
monger - you're right...right now I don't want to sink the money into photoshop (call me cheap???), but eventually, I will. I like the trial version 7...so I know I'll love the CS version.....maybe in a few months...har de har har...
Misti - I was just messing around with the shapes tool and the bevelling effects. I'm going to try to make a stained glass window soon....but I'm not on that level yet :-)
colorbook: haven't gotten into tubes yet...
Ony, I can send you a copy of Photoshop or Painter if you're interested.
But have you ever heard of kazaa lite?
uhm...send on, send on....
kazaa lite (no....hip me willya?)
Kazaa is file-sharing software.
I've got an extra copy of Photoshop 7 at my office so I'll contact you by PM about that.
Photoshop has good help files, but I'd recommend the latest edition of 'Photoshop for Dummies' to start you off quickly...it's presented well & funny too. Actually that's the only computer book I've ever read all the way through...someone lent me a copy when Photoshop 5 just came out.
