I coax the lazy of working by using pie
I'm never placed in big use
To quit and just add error
Leaves fear on the loose
What am I?
Ok, kev. Blind man's bluff:
A circle.
I'm sorry Letty your answer went straight past me without me catching on?????
Well, Kev. I thought pie chart--error of measurement--the fear that comes with learning what the U.S. spends (or what England spends, for that matter) --Pi in finding the area of a circle....3.14, etc.
Frankly, my friend. It was sorta difficult to understand the riddle itself.
Now I see your reasoning Letty, good thinking but it's not the one
Back to the drawing board, then, Kev. Hall of Fame? Nor in the hallowed halls of ivy, either. Give us a hint, then, Brit.
Clue: (think carefully) If you are good at word games you will get this.
Bloody hell that's clever Kev!
Note to everyone. You need the "What am I?" to get the answer.
Bloody hell, if this is a damned anagram.
Scrabble?
Let's see--what am I...You Brits do stick together.
Grrrr... Letty, point for future reference. NEVER call an aussie a brit.
oops, Adrian. Sorry...now I'm laughin' my arse off.
Never send a 'Merican to do a man's work...
Letty, it's Kev's riddle so he'll have to tell you whether you made the hall of fame but one of your answers is sooooo close it's not funny.
Whatever an Aussie does I can do better. (sure I can)
Well, Kev and Adrian, I'll have to look back and then look forward and then sit down in Florida and contemplate the palmetto bugs..(big roach, actually)

Your'e almost there Letty, but I can tell you haven't quite seen it yet.
This is why i hate Saxon crosswords . . .
I solved the riddle by looking on the internet.
Do I still get in the hall of fame?
(PS -- There's no need to post the answer here. Let it sit for awhile).
If you solved the riddle via the internet Smiley you get to be an "honorary member" in the hall of fame for demonstrating initiative, however, to get into the "premier division" hall of fame, you have to solve this using only brain cells. (Something which I failed miserably to do)
Okay. I'll sleep on it. Hey, there's a new theory out that one may learn while sleeping. Well, it's not new, really.
Wonder if Setanta's Saxon crosswords comment is a clue.
Kev, Smiley, Don't you dare let anyone answer this until tomorrow.
Goodnight, from Florida
Good morning, all. Funny, I got up this morning not feeling one bit more qualified to belong to MENSA.
Question: Is this riddle an anagram? If so, then the clue must lie in the question, "What am I?" hot or cold?
