@BillRM,
Then thank u for posting them.

Thay shud be required learning (along with fonetic spelling) in the public schools.

Something that is mentioned very fleetingly, too fleetingly,
in them is that it is legal for the police to lie during interrogation and thay DO it !

@OmSigDAVID,
My sister was over last night watching my son so the two of us could go out to the movies. When we got home Morgan had a text msg from a friend asking what we were up to, he just responded that we just got home from the movies and were relaxing at home, now if he said he needed a ride we would have been more then happy to pick him up but we didn’t hear back from him after that.

@OmSigDAVID,
we've had enough quasi-legal diversions, what's one more...

They are great and very interesting indeed.

Thanks for doing so on this thread.
I found one of those threads and I posted to it, Bill.

I agree with your video, Rocky.
There is no jurisdiction for the "War on Drugs"; it is anathema to Americanism.

Anything and everything that deviates from Original Americanism
(except Constitutional amendments) in any respect, is liberal

It is a distortion of Americanism; the Founders woud be aghast. It is liberal.

Under orthodox, Original Americanism, government never had any jurisdiction
to interfere in self destructive conduct. I have never used recreational drugs,
but I object to the USURPATION of power in suppression of it.

The bottom-most point, the most fundamental, foundational point
of the pivot is the right of each citizen to end his life when he chooses. That is none of government's business.

I think its sad, if u c a friend make a mistake;
e.g., if he 's doing carpentry and he hits his hand with a hammer.
Its his OWN fault, but still . . . if he 's your friend . . .

@hawkeye10,
I think your definition of "good acts" differs greatly from the generally accepted definition.

That is a theory which we could investigate, though I have no idea what the profit in it would be. If you want to argue that Thom's act of trying to get Barry some help and in the process self incriminating himself was not "good" then I am all ears.

@hawkeye10,
Doing less than what is required by law can hardly qualify as a "good act."

That depends upon the law, sometimes not following the law is the course of virtue. Florida has one of or the most literal and punitive fleeing the scene laws in the nation, and it is a very new law.....maybe it is a bad law.

And the problem is? I give out the definitions that I use, you should have a much greater problem with people who use words but who then refuse to define them.

There are a lot of unknowns here. While this is a terrible situation for both Thom and Barry - we don't know all the facts and I'm shocked to read many of these posts. We can not clearly pass any judgement from heresay, friends of friends, or assumptions. Clearly many of the posts are vivid assumptions of what may have happened and without being there first hand it is impossible to place blame. I can't help but feel for both familes that are involved in this very unfortunate life event. I would like to note that when you look at the intersection of 22nd avenue and 5th that intersection is blocked by alot of foilage, coupled with it being dark & foggy that night there could be alot of uncertainly. There could have been some other obstacle involved that created a very unfortunate scenario that has not been reported. The tire could have fallen off the bike, Barry could have by accident ran off the curb we don't know. No one at this point knows what happened exactly, only Thom, Barry & god. We can only hope that the truth will surface as to exactly what happened that night.

@cpguy,
All that is possible...but time will reveal all the accurate and complete details.

Out of curiosity ... where are all these local people coming from? This isn't a random occurence.

@hawkeye10,
Most people do not need to define every word out of their mouths, because they use the same definitions as the rest of the world.
