@FOUND SOUL,
You better believe you would stop if you ever hit a full grown reindeer. Them suckers are exactly the size of a caribou.

Okay, go to Google Maps and copy this into the search: Fifth Avenue N and 22nd Street, Saint Petersburg, FL. Zoom in as far as possible then go to street view and take a 360 look around the place.

According to the link jcboy gave early on in this thread, that's the intersection near where the incident happened.

You'll be able to see the terrain, the length of the blocks, the street lighting, etc.

If you want to see the distance from that intersection to Thom's street, get driving directions from that intersection to Dartmouth Avenue North. It is a lot longer than just a block and a half. Dartmouth is way up on 5th Ave. near 49th St. That's more like 27 blocks. That bit of knowledge should end the debate about whether or not he was fleeing the scene or going home to call for help.

@firefly,
Do me a big big favor Firefly never never even think of stopping your charming attacks on my postings faults.

Is it not strange that your blind spot is that you can not see how those attacks reflect on you not on me?

Keep the good work up on revealing the kind of person you are in a far better manner then anyone else could do.

Thanks you.....................

@Butrflynet,
Thanks, that's useful.
500 feet, I get, perhaps running to the phone at home. We don't know the timing.

But. . . . that's much further..

@Butrflynet,
Have to correct this. If the address given in one of the reports is correct for Thom, then his house is indeed less than two blocks from that intersection.

If you just ask for directions from that intersection to Dartmouth, it places the location up 27 blocks away. It looks like Dartmouth is parallel with 5th Avenue and his house is actually only 2 blocks from that intersection.

@Butrflynet,
Well, then, that would make sense.

In any case, I think it would be good if you got rid of a photo of the house.

Still with the child porn, eh?

You have to ask, "Oh where did the blood on the old window shield come from..." Question

How about from the person who was hit by the car and then thrown up against the windshield?

You don't think that a human body being batted around like that might deposit some blood on the windshield?

It seems to me that's a considerably more reasonable speculation than your hypothesis that Thom never stopped his car because he was in a hurry to get home so he could make a phone call to aid the victim. Rolling Eyes

I've got a lot of gay friends and, like you and JC, they're lovely, mature people. I never knew these cliches actually existed, but I am loving the cat fight. does that make me a bad person? Probably.
