Law is law...If you drink and drive you will be caught

Being caught driving with a .03 for example is not a crime in the US the assume illegal impair limit is .08 not .01....02....03...04....05....06...07.

Not a hard concept to understand so what is your problem? You can drink and you can drive legally.

what drink driving means

There is drunk driving not drink driving there is no such thing as drink driving.

Ahha. You're telling the story.. Don't take me out of context.

You are the one that stated that they changed their campaign..

Where did I say that you couldn't ? I clearly stated any idiot knows how much they can drink before they are over the limit and therefore not break the law.

You're odd for wanting so desperately to know all about her, or even just "something".

BillRM has a sick obsession with me that at times has included his sexual fantasies. He's constantly talking about me in threads, sometimes with Hawkeye, and they both voice all kinds of distorted or inaccurate statements about my opinions, the kind of person I am, my "agenda" (whatever that's supposed to be Rolling Eyes), etc. The person they're talking about bears no resemblance to me, or to anything I've said in posts.

He doesn't just want to know "something" about me--at various times, he's asked, in a somewhat demanding manner, for my complete family and marital history, complete educational history, and complete employment/work history, among other things--things no one else at A2K has questioned me about in the 8 years I've been hanging around here, and things I haven't heard other posters demand to know from each other either. And I don't know those sorts of details about most of the other people posting at A2K, most don't have detailed profiles, most are not talking about their life history in threads. Some people share aspects of their lives, because it's relevant to a thread, or because there is something they want to talk about, some people don't. But to be constantly hounded about it, the way BillRM hounds me, is invasive and creepy. He's rather like a stalker.

I'm not trying to conceal or hide anything, as he keeps saying, that's absurd. I reveal things about myself all the time, and I've expressed lots of opinions on all sorts of things--but it's not the sort of info that BillRM wants me to supply him with. Of course, BillRM has no need for any of the specific info he wants from me, simply to respond to my posts, so why he wants to know these things is quite strange. I sure as hell don't want to get to know him any better. Laughing

It's getting fascinating watching him never admit he's wrong in this thread, and to keep arguing against the drunk driving laws. He hasn't got a leg to stand on, but he'll tell you he runs marathons. Laughing

Drink driving, driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated / driving while impaired (DWI) is a criminal offence in most countries due to the fact that alcohol and drugs can impair the user and make them a danger to other road users' safety when driving. Consequently, there are legal drink drive limits which motorists must abide by. The level of breath or blood alcohol which determines the legal limit varies depending on your own country's laws, but we have endeavoured to make a relatively comprehensive list below. (Scroll down to view).

In addition, we have also put some USA specific information for each state, showing the legal drink drive limit, information on open alcoholic drink container laws for both drivers and passengers, information relating the possible suspension of your driving license and forfeiture of your vehicle.

I find it amusing... 8 years? I wonder... 18 years of wondering, what could that do to a person? Wink

@BillRM,
OK the internet/google had come through one more time and my jaw is re-hinged.

Poor baby Firefly even in pain from my jaw I got to feel sorry for you as I double in your long life that any male had have sexual fantasies concerning you.

Given you fear and hate and fear of men that had come through your postings here the likelihood of you ever having even one intimacy relationship with a man is near to zero also.

Men fall into two classes rapists or would be rapists barely held in check by the state.

Only the all powerful state and it laws keep women somewhat safe.

Sad to be going to your grave without sharing a loving relationship with a man.

Maybe I should be kinder to you as annoying as you are it must be hell to be in your skin.

You could use the term "drinking and driving" with the assume that you are drinking something that contain alcohol when driving not a soft drink or a cup of coffee.

But no no no there is not such thing as drink driving..............

Ok as ugly as it sound to an American ear it is correct non-amercan english.

It is not correct American english however and is jaring to say the least to an american ear.

http://www.proofreadnow.com/blog/bid/88297/Drink-Driving-Infer-and-Imply

Drunk driving v. drink-driving.
Did you know that what goes for drunk driving in America is known as drink-driving in Britain? That's right - so be careful when editing We need harsher drink-driving penalties for MPs. If it's British, it's correct.

In America it'd be written We need at least some drunk driving penalties for congressmen, don't you think? This American form--drunk driving--exemplifies hypallage (hy-PAL-ah-jee) because it is the driver, not the driving, that is drunk. Other examples of hypallage: black colleges, handicapped parking, overhead projector, and well-educated home.

AND, Australia.

There you go, you can still even learn at 63 years of age Bill, by a woman, who's younger.

No, no, no, you can't backtrack now.... You've admitted it does actually exist after all, like I've been saying.

As my boss in life is a woman IE my wife I do not see the point of you being a woman matter in any regard.

Footnote I was also a full member of NOW and the supporter of the equal right amendment in the 1960s.
