Oh, still on the subject of slow cookers, I had a look at the photo you posted of yours a while ago - hey, snap - we both have Morphy Richards now! Good little cookers.

Storm warnings are worsening - they say winds of more than 80 mph and worse than the Great Storm of 1987 - oh dear, don't look forward to the early hours of tomorrow. Torches and candles ready, everything in the garden either moved to the garage or laid flat - not a lot we can do now. Just hoping and praying we still have a roof in the morning and that the trees in the garden are still standing ..... wish us luck!
