I do not think that anyone else could destroy what anyone else thinks unless a person wanted this to happen...I often think...what would Jesus do? And I have to think he would consider everyone's views, and not just his own thinking...even though he is decisive...I am decisive...and won't be persuaded of something that is not myself...but I happen to think the more and more one refines themselves...the stronger their faith actually is...and becomes...and that (to me) involves listening to what others have to say...no matter how outlandish it may appear...because God has created everyone with an innate reason just like he did for believers...

I will explain to you exactly what I mean...If my faith was not very strong...and I was not decisive...Would I not have heard what you have said, and then chose to leave, because it was not my own thinking, but your own?

I think if my faith was weak, or if I was not decisive, did not value others views, and distinguish how they are not the same as mine but value them...I think I would have quickly left...opposed to explaining my views from my point...while understanding my importance to be here...

If your faith was not very strong then it is weak... You can be persuaded by others because you are vulnerable.

I believe that it is, if your faith is so strong and you will not budge on your own beliefs, nothing can change it.

If your belief is sketchy , you will listen and there runs the problem. If you do not have a mind of your own, you will be persuaded. If you do, you will listen and make your own choice.

Speaking of cooking...the other day I was able to cook for my friends which I have not in a while...made muscles, with red wine sauce, diced the garlic up professionally for them, just to get some laughs...took a French beget, scored the bread on angles, but not all the way through so you could just pull it apart...melted some butter, put the bread in the oven low...mixed the butter with salt, pepper, bit of orange juice...then drizzled the butter over the bread, and let it toast a few more minutes...

Mmm ... that sounds delicious, Spades. I bet it looked good too. For me, a lot of the pleasure in a meal is in the presentation - yours sounded as if it looked just great!
