Have you ever read something or heard some words from someone that makes something in your brain just 'light up'? You know, that feeling of amazement which alters the way you veiw things? So, I'm asking you in the a2k community; what words have inspired you in your life?
@Procrustes,
"ALWAYS KEEP THE CURTAIN INSIDE THE TUB WHILE SHOWERING"
These have been words Ive always lived by.
@farmerman,
Don't pick at it, or it'll never heal.
@Procrustes,
The God of the Christians is a father who makes much of his apples, and very little of his children. Diderot
What makes equality such a difficult business is that we only want it with our superiors. - Henry Becque, Querelles litteraires, 1890
I've often thought Robert should get rid of the 'Ask an expert' tagline for A2K and replace it with this:
"If you and I agreed about everything, then one of us is unnecessary."
Robert Altmann
@Procrustes,
“Action may not bring happiness but there is no happiness without action.” -William James
