Is this able to appear on your facebook page WITHOUT having an iphone?

Yes; this is part of a Facebook feed and shouldn't have anything to do with whether the recipient (on Facebook) is surfing with a phone or a PC.

hi jespah! thanks for replying...on my husbands fb page--it states:" ____ just installed fb for his iphone" yet when I say: "Hey! did you get an iphone?" he says "no--I don't have an iphone." strange.
