It remains to be seen what the big problem is...it might be that corporations do not want to be associated with a game where we can expect students to be giving shout outs to JoePa, worse would be if they dont want to be associated with the university at all because that will carry over for years (assuming that PSU has a football program in the coming years, which is by no means a sure thing).

no different than when tiger woods lost endorsement deals a few years back.

advertisers do not wish their product to be associated with people or institutions that break the law, or make the news for scandalous reasons...

Tiger Woods, nuthin'. Hertz must have had palpitations when they had to jettison all those ads wth OJ Simpson in them.
