This is vague, but my sister and I are trying to remember a movie from when we were young. Some details we remember . . . there is a teenage boy, trying to save the town? the world? Save something from something and there is a like "from the past (50's) dead girl" trying to help him. Something with a professor and like wax sealed scrolls? This movie I would believe was from the 80's or 90's. Any idea's, I realize this is not much information.

A 1985 made-for-tv movie called "The Midnight Hour" has dead people coming to life after the seal of a scroll is broken.
According to the description in Wikipedia: "Phil encounters a mysterious girl, named Sandra "Sandy" Matthews (Jonna Lee), dressed in a vintage 1950's cheerleader outfit, who warns him that the whole town is in danger."

Your movie is Midnight hour. This is very interesting movie even I like this movie to much.
