Sex with hookers in Paraguay: Rites of passage

A friend of mine told me that his first sexual experience, when he was thirteen, was when he and a bunch of his classmates went to a hooker, and one right after the other, lost their virginity. He also said that this is pretty common in Paraguay, and some kids even had their dads take them to hookers. At least that's what it was like where he was. Has anyone heard of this, or any other unusual or unique sexual rites of passage?
