I believe sending spam violates the federal law, the CAN SPAM Act. I receive spam e-mail. Some of them list the sending company's address in the U.S.
Is there a place I can send the offending spam that will result in action against the company?

Yes, you can send a report to this site:
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
I can't promise they will take action against a certain company. What I do know, is they look at these complaints and take them seriously.
