your numbers 3 and 5 seem to work against each other..

I will be up half the night finishing a car, but it's still 90 degrees at 11 pm.

my cat talks to me more than any person does. he's become rather demanding since bubba moved outside.

my friend edgar makes me feel lazy and sluggardly. he rarely complains and works in the heat every day...

I got a surprise PM tonight that made me smile big. with another surprise attached.

1. I just went on a wee road trip, drove 11961 km in 15 Days through 15 States and 7 Provinces.
2. I'm 5'4 1/2" in the morning but I'm pretty sure I'm even by nightfall.
3. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
4. I just found freckles on my toes. This is new.
5. I hate coffee
6. I walked so much this summer, my good walking flip-flops are now flat-flops...
7. As I walked around Boston and New York, I wondered where all the Indians were? Natives... Were they expelled?
8. Homeless Vets are the saddest thing.
9. My cousin and her large brood are staying at my place for the next couple of days. Should be fun.
10. I learned that the New York subway system is pure entertainment. Especially during a torrential downpour.
11. I really want to go to Mediterranean.
12. I'm a terrible speller.
13. Isn't really unlucky, it's just an old wives tale. But several buildings/condos we saw being built on the trip, still skipped the number... odd.
14. Boston is the prettiest city. I didn't expect that.
15. I haven't worn socks in 6 weeks.
16. Why does it always rain after you've steamed cleaned the carpets?
17. Why do hitchhikers always look like Jesus? And why do people with Jesus fish bumper stickers never pick them up?
18. I believe in the Matrix. Before I left on the x-continent drive, I said I wanted to eat authentic cuisine of each place, we stumbled across the oldest pizza joints in Boston and Chicago. The oldest continuos Restaurant in the USA and the original Montreal smoked beef, Rueben sandwich joint where it seriously just melted in your mouth... yummm.
19. I need to find a job.
20. The interstate highways are boring, full of mile and miles of road repairs and in some places lots of toll booths.
21. Moose and deer scare the crap outta me.
22. I drove through a town that had suffered a flood. The devastation these people had gone through will be evident for a good long while even after the piles of junk are removed and the scared earth re-grown. The innocent looking little mouse river still snakes it's way through town. How long before it bursts it's banks again?
23. I could use a nap and it's only 10 am...
24. My dogs are happy I'm home.
25. We live in an awesome place, this earth. I wish I could see it all.

Aw, Ceili, you were in Boston and didn't tell us?

Actually, I wouldn't have told me either.

1. I don't know what color my eyes are -- kinda brownish-greenish-yellowish.
2. I have incredibly ugly feet.
3. I've tried and tried and tried, but I just can't get Cantonese
pronunciation down.
4. I drink a glass of red wine almost every day.
5. I didn't go out on a date until I was twenty-seven.

Ceili, Get that #4 item checked on medically. Not to be an alarmist; but, they may not be freckles.

George I would have believe me, but I didn't know when I'd get there. As it was, I was there for less than 24 hours. :-(

Sturgis, I'm covered with freckles. Everytime I go out in the sun, I discover more spots, most of them fade in and out.. And they're just wee little things.

Okie doke. Just keep an eye on them so they don't develop into something more. My mother had freckles everywhere and didn't pay mind to some which turned out to be a bit more serious. When a friend of hes said something she went to the doctor (regular visit for her other medical issues) she got them tended to early enough that they didn't snuff out her life.

Thanks Sturgis, I'm normally I'm just a shade up from deathly pale. I'm pretty careful in the sun and I do keep an eye out for any changes. But I have been in the sun a fair amount over the last few weeks and at the moment I'm sporting the speckled egg look. It'll fade in a day or two...
