Has anyone seen Passion Of Christ?

I talked about it on some religion thread a little while ago but I saw Passion of Christ last year with my friend. She's Christian and we watched it with her parents. Im not real religious so I dont think you have to believe in god to watch it. Its really sad and kinda creepy toward the end but if you havent seen it watch it. Its kinda a long movie too.

i thought it was kind of bible porn, it was way over the top in my opinion

I just listened to an audio book called "Nothing Happens Until It Happens to You" by T.M. Shine.

At one point the main character sees his 20 something female neighbor sitting in the back seat of her parents SUV, with a girlfriend, in their driveway.

He goes up and asks "What're you doing?"
She said "Watching Avatar on the headrest. It's epic. I like watching really big things really small, like on the back of a headrest. Last week we watched Passion of the Christ. You haven't seen Passion of the Christ until you've seen it on the back of a headrest."

I've got a ipod touch too! I got it for my birthday actually. Its the new one with the camera on the front and back. It's 32 gb and it has the cutest ipod cover. Its got my name on it with letter stickers! Ha! What kind is yours? Smile

If someone watched something that violent, and it wasn't about Jesus, they would be trying to get people not to see it.

Lots of movies come from fiction. This is no different, except it's not a particularly good movie. Too much gratuitous violence. Not really appropriate for young people.

I saw it when my churchy friend asked me to go see it with him (and his church). At the end of the movie the minister/preacher/whatever asked who wanted to come forward and be saved. I couldn't believe they were serious!

I thought the best part was the lighting. Good lighting can really make or break a movie. And the part where Jesus makes the sit down table and his mom thinks he's nuts.

The worst part of it was everything else. Torture porn isn't my cup of tea.

I enjoyed The Last Temptation of Christ.

Gracie, you might want to check that out on youtube, you can watch in all in a few segments.

I remember when it first came out, some people were protesting in the streets.
All because it dared to put a different spin on things.

i've just got the basic 3rd gen 8 gb model, no camera

i use it for movies and e books, some comic books and internet access if i'm out and about and can steal some wi fi

i've got an ipod shuffle for podcasts and audio books
