I wasn’t married to Antonio’s mother, she was my girlfriend and like a lot of young couples she got pregnant. She was planning on having an abortion and there wasn’t anything I could do about it. Her parents being the Catholics they are talked her into having him. And I’m very thinkful for that. I received sole custody.

She hasn’t seen him since she gave birth.

I'm usually up about 4:30. I go to the gym early then come home and get ready for work. I don't even need an alarm clock Smile

Today is our Sunday Funday and we are taking Antonio to a fundraiser for SmartRide. One of my friends rides in the event. It’s to raise money for people with HIV/AIDS. It’s being held here in St. Pete. It’s an outdoor BBQ and they are serving Hawaiian burgers.

They don’t match anything else he has. That’s how is father dresses him, shoes don’t match the belt, pants don’t go with the shirt.

I leave early so his father dresses him and takes him to school, I get home early so I pick him up. Today he was wearing tan pants and a blue and white striped shirt. I almost called the fashion police myself.

The loss is on her part! She will never know what a loving, cute boy Antonio is. Kudos to you for coming through for him and getting sole custody - you are a good man, Marco!
