@Thomas,
I had to go on my own as no friends would go.

I have to admit I liked it....but now I am unable to stop worrying about animals used in science.

I always worried, but I could bury it.

They softened up the human / chimpanzee divide from both sides. It's incredible how human the chimps were, but it was also clever to remind us how we lose our own humanity with dementia.

There presently is a campaign to get Andy Serkis (Caesar) a nomination for his performance. Despite all of the motion capture technology, I hear the facial performance and the physical acting was all Serkis.

I would love for the Academy to break the mold and nominate Serkis for his physical acting talents.
