I don't care.. It didn't become part of the Constitution.

I don't worry about any other proposed amendments that weren't ratified

@parados,
I will be honest! I am sure that taxes have to be taken in in order to keep up a city but I do question is it a tax haven for corporations or elites is what I think the video may be referring to!

@hamilton,
I would personally have a problem with a president or any other person in our government being paid by another country! What kind of agenda would they have?

@reasoning logic,
SO.. you STILL have not read the information I gave you..

Financial Service companies based in the City of London are NOT exempt from UK taxes.

Quote:
Corporation tax is the largest tax borne by FS companies. The sector as a whole provided 27.5% of total
government CT receipts in the Financial Year to 31 March 2007
. However, the sector bears and collects many
other UK taxes.

The "tax haven" provides over 25% of the corporate taxes collected the British government. (NOT the city.)

I am not going to pretend that I know how taxes are done or all the loop holes that exist but I will say that I have a problem with people living off the backs of other people or interest of money that has been stolen in multiple ways!

So do I.

I also have a problem with people claiming falsely that others are doing that.
You don't seem to have that same problem because you don't seem to be concerned with checking out those claims to see if they are true.

In 1992, The Queen volunteered to pay income tax and capital gains tax, and since 1993 her personal income has been taxable as for any other taxpayer.
The Queen has always been subject to Value Added Tax and pays local rates on a voluntary basis.

When you look at some of the UK government's websites, you'll most certainly find a lot more information, about the various forms of taxation, administration in England (e.g. 'Greater London'), local government (like about 'City of London'), police force (you certainly know that the City of London has an own police force), ...

Sure! -
(Our president has a lot of tax-free "salary" as well, as had until recently members of our various parliaments) ...

@Walter Hinteler,
I would not mind volunteering to pay taxes either if I thought that everything I got was gotten in ill gotten ways, Not that the queen did the wrong doing but if I am not mistaken it was gotten by force with the armies of the past!

I hear that she owns more land than anyone but I do not know if this is a fact!
