@garu,
Piston stuck, sheared pin - unplug the unit now.

@H2O MAN,
Is there anything I can do to fix it?

@garu,
I can refurbish the valve, RainSoft will tell you that you need to replace it... not a bad idea, but don't use RainSoft. A Fleck 2510 SXT is much better.

@H2O MAN,
I've got an old AM32T timer, or whatever. The manual is for an AM32T anyway, and it matches my unit. What would be a good replacement or head for this unit? Fleck's are always recommended, but which one would be a good fit to replace my AM32T?

@zzbusch,
I'm thinking I'd like to replace the entire control head. Unscrew the head I have now and screw on a new controller right on top of the tank. Would you be so kind as to recommend a control head? My Rainsoft system was installed in 1996 and I'd like to bring it up to date.
Thanks.
