Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal must be put to death.
So, I guess you would want to see this man given the death sentence, JG.
Unfortunately, in Ohio, he doesn't even face jail time. In the state in which I live, he would be facing a jail sentence.

Update: The man charged in this case is Peter Bower of Shelby (According to 19 Action News)
Shelby, OH -- Bestiality ... something that most individuals would prefer to not think about. A concept so heinous that it is easier to imagine that it doesn't exist.
The dog warden in Richland County is disgusted by a horrible case of bestiality in his own area.
In fact, Warden Dave Jordan told the Mansfield News Journal that this case is the "most sickening" thing that he has had to investigate in 8 years of work.
Community tips led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man from Shelby -- a man who has allegedly had sexual relations with his 3-year-old shepherd mix, as well as other animals, including a horse and three other dogs -- dating all the way back to 2006.
Unfortunately, sexual relations (bestiality) with an animal are not specifically prohibited in Ohio.
The man, un-named in the News Journal publication, only faces two misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty for his actions. He was able to post his bond within 24 hours of being arrested and proceeded to plead innocent to charges when he went to court on May 27.
As for the dog victim in this sad case, she was adopted from the Richland County Dog Shelter in early May -- going to the home of a man that violated her, inflicting pain and trauma.
The dog was removed from the man's home -- a veterinarian confirmed that she suffered vaginal bruising. She is residing at the shelter now.
The 31-year-old Shelby man will face a pre-trial hearing at the end of July.
As for the laws in Ohio, the Richland County Humane Society wants to work with the dog warden to help pass legislation that will make bestiality a crime, if not for the entire state, at least in this community of Richland County. http://www.examiner.com/dogs-in-national/dog-sexually-abused-by-owner
People do rather strange, bizarre, and sometimes vile, things when they cannot express their sexual impulses with other humans in an appropriate manner.
Leviticus 18: v 23
"Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it, that is a perversion. "
Leviticus 20: v 15
"If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal."
Deuteronomy 27: v 21
"Cursed is the man who has sexual relations with any animal,....."
So as God's faithful servant would you put this man to death by your own hand for this sin? I seriously doubt you have the balls for the job

I guess no matter what he says about Jesus he's more of a Jehovah fan.

Let's see what Goldman the closet homosexual pedophillia victim has to say about these things
A man could marry (literally "become the master of the woman") as often as he desired. In Genesis 4:19, Lamech became the first known polygamist when he took two wives. Subsequent men who took multiple wives included: Esau with 3 wives; Jacob: 2; Ashur: 2; Gideon: many; Elkanah: 2; David: many; Solomon: 700 wives of royal birth; Rehaboam: 3; Abijah: 14. Jehoram, Joash, Ahab, Jeholachin and Belshazzar also had multiple wives.
Genesis 16:2 : Sarah gave permission to her husband Abraham to engage in sexual intercourse with her maid, Hagar: "Sarai said unto Abram...I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her." Presumably this was done without the consent of Hagar, who had such a low status in the society of the day that she was required to submit to multiple rapes at her owner's command.
Genesis 19:8: The men of Sodom gathered around Lot's house, and asked that he bring his two guests out so that the men can "know" them. This is frequently interpreted as a desire to gang rape the visitors, although other interpretations are possible. Lot offers his two virgin daughters to be raped instead: He is recorded as saying: "I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes." Yet, even after this despicable act, Lot is still regarded as an honorable man, worth saving from the destruction of the city. Allowing one's daughters to be sexually assaulted by multiple rapists appears to be treated as a minor transgression, because of the low status of the young women. More details on Genesis 19.
Genesis 21:10: A man could simultaneously keep numerous concubines. These were sexual partners of an even lower status than a wife was. As implied in this verse she could be dismissed when no longer needed: Sarah is recorded as saying: "...Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac." Abraham had two concubines; Gideon: at least 1; David: many; Nahor: 1; Jacob: 1; Eliphaz: 1; Gideon: 1; Caleb: 2; Manassah: 1; Saul: 1; David: at least 10; Rehoboam: 60; Solomon: 300; an unidentified Levite: 1; Belshazzar: more than 1.
Leviticus 20: v 15
"If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal."
So, you'd kill the animal too, JG? Would you actually kill her?
Well, some more compassionate folk are trying to find this abused dog a new home.

Shelby, OH - Aurora is a beautiful 3 yr-old dog with a terribly sad and traumatizing past.
The young dog lost her home when her owner, Peter Bower of Shelby, was found guilty of a misdemeanor charge of "injuring" an animal.
The injuries were to Aurora - the manner in which she was abused is deplorable.
Aurora was sexually abused by Bower.
The heinous crime was discovered this past June. Tragically, Aurora, until just recently, was held at a pound as part of "court evidence".
Thankfully, she has been released from the pound and is now residing in a foster home through the Open Arms Rescue of WNY in Akron, NY.
According to the rescue organization - everyone who meets Aurora absolutely adores her.
She is currently being fostered in a home which includes other dogs, cats and teenagers.
The rescue intends to fully evaluate Aurora in order to learn about any special needs which she may have after her traumatic past.
They intend to do what is best for Aurora and to ensure that she never suffers from abuse again.
As for Bowers, he will never spend time behind bars for his crime. Unfortunately, in Ohio, bestiality is not a crime.
Instead, he has been sentenced to 80 days of community services, two years of probation and he must undergo a sexual evaluation and attend sex addiction classes.
Tell me, JG, would you really advocate killing that innocent dog? Do you really take that Bible quote that literally? Do you take everything you read in the Bible that literally?
JG, would you really advocate killing that innocent dog? Would you personally kill it? Do you really take that Bible quote that literally? Do you take everything you read in the Bible that literally?
That is a loaded question - I feel sorry for the dog, I don't know how to answer that honestly.
That's the problem with taking the Bible too literally, JG.

We no longer punish bestiality with death, and your own compassion probably would not allow you to kill that dog. The dog didn't do anything wrong, and you know it.
Not everything in the Bible is meant to be taken literally and followed blindly, JG. Some things in the Bible may actually be wrong. So, why did you post that quote from Leviticus? Didn't you think about what it said?
