@JGoldman10,
Honey, my aunt took Disney cells out of the trash a time or two in the late thirties, when she bothered to do that, as saving for memories.
I've written about her here before - I call her my hundred and one year old aunt.
Uncle was treasurer of the company for a bit. He loved coffee ice cream.
(I should add that I was so not from the accountant end of the family - my father, mother's husband, was a poet at heart.) This worked out with me being a non accountant.
Years later, the guy I dated (dated? well, a prim prom when I was sixteen) was later head of animation for some movie I won't detail. Funny to me story about that, when I called him when I saw his name in the paper, decades later. He remembered me very cheerfully as someone else. But hey, he gave me a teddy bear at christmas when I was sixteen.
I'll insult anyone's comics. And so will most others here.
