@JGoldman10,
You know Rockhead, he's right.

He needs to get a long metal implement, make sure the scanner is plugged in at the time, insert metal implement....

It will help if you are standing in a tub of water at the time.

@Sturgis,
that does hold more potential for exciting results...

(although some might find it revolting)

@JGoldman10,
If you still have the manual for it, there should be a troubleshooting section that shows you the paper path and where to look when there are jams.

If you don't have the manual, try Googling for it. Most printers have manuals online these days.

@JGoldman10,
I think if you google it you''l have more fun and it will be much more intimate, just place your googler into the scanner....

...uh oh! I see those men in the police uniforms coming to get you for fornicating with a scanner.

@JGoldman10,
I don't think you understand the process of ignoring. In my case, you instructed me by pm that you didn't see my long post on colors because you ignore me.
In this present situation, you clearly read my post.

I don't think you understand the word troll either. People who express disagreement with you are not trolls. Indeed, they are usually quite reasonable.
Whether you block me or not is not of my concern.

@ossobuco,
People who deliberately post insults are trolls. People who deliberate try to cause trouble are trolls. That is what you did.

I DIDN'T ASK YOU ABOUT THE CONCEPT OF TROLLING.

You are WORRYING ABOUT SOME OLD THREAD I DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT. A THREAD I FORGOT ABOUT.

I forgive you - I have to.

If you don't want to help me that's fine. Don't respond - I would rather post in peace.

@ossobuco,
I was willing to get you another chance but if you still want to be nasty and condescending - that is your problem. I am sorry if I wronged you in any way.

I think the reason why I kept getting a paper jam message was that that paper I was trying to print with wasn't the right size. I just used a different size paper and printed something with no problem.
