I actually thought about that, fishin. But he wouldn't eat and so I wouldn't know where to begin as far as shooting him goes.

I'd have to hike with him in a pack? Nah, he doesn't eat well when he travels unless it's to my parents' house which, by now, he knows well.

I know, the poor guy is all stressed...hes a pretty good cat though...not like Cleo, who couldnt travel in any condition..you know if you could get her out from under the bed to begin with

no, it's not like that. Occassionaly he makes me crazy (don't all pets make their owners crazy sometimes?).

Like this a.m.: he ate, I watched to make sure he was doing so gustily, when I was satisfied (and it was time to leave my house for work) I gave him his shot. 30 seconds later he threw up his breakfast and suddenly I'm worried he's going to go into an insulin coma. I had to stay a while (was late to work) to make sure it was a fluke and he had started eating again.

Here's more specific info I sent myself. I'll put it here so I can clean it out of my inbox.

The Fells is a reservation area along I93 near winchester.

Mt Greylock - western MA.

Halibut state park

various trails in the area

The Halibut State Park looks awsome. A "Mountain" and quarry over-looking the ocean.
