oh no, I can't even handle those. burn the hell out of 'em.

I swear, the last time I made some, I burned them, and then wally made a 2nd batch, doing exactly the same thing (I watched) and they came out fine.

I'm a good cook, I just can't bake.

Baking requires way too much precision. I can bake (and have been on a rare occassion successful making stuff from scratch) if I have the time .... and patience - both of which I have little of.

I bake. Sometimes it works out.

I once made cookies from scratch - I put in 1/2 cup of baking powder instead of a 1/2 teaspoon.

They didn't taste very good - kinda explained afterwards why the batter seemed so dry.
