Our Rainsoft unit doesn't have any 'menu scroll' button, so don't know how to program the unit after addition of salt. There are 4 buttons on our unit: program, up, down and regenerate.
I am hoping to get some information on how to program our softner - we have an AQC100V and its a 2001 model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

please could you send me a copy of the installation manual, when my unit was last serviced they changed the settings and it has never been the same I have the original setting values. it is a ION-X-2000 serial number 30344 installed in 2001. my email is @sky.com

one last thing can the carbon filter be serviced and is there a manual on this.

I am not totally familiar with the newer models from RainSoft.
