Hi, I recently bought a oil on canvas by an English artist called Vincent Selby. I've looked at quite a few of his paintings and can only find landscapes. I have a cityscape and does not look like his other works. What could this mean? Is it fake? The signatures match and it is certainly painted to a high standard. Was just wondering in general does a painting by an artist in an unusual style (for the artist) make the painting more or less valuable?
