It might've been one of the chipmunks. We've been outsourcing lately.

@Region Philbis,
i read this in a book...
a man's son died. when he did not cry, people asked why he would not.
he said, "i did not cry for my son when he was born. why should i cry when he is dead?"

what do you think of that?
that was not the exact text, but the general thing.

@hamilton,
As you can see in my first signature line, as I see it, when one dies he returns to the state he enjoyed before he was born. I would cry for neither his "birth" or "death" events. Actually, I did cry (a painful "dry" cry) when my late wife and step-son died, but it was for me, for my pain of loss (there was a little anger in there too).

@JLNobody,
my condolences...
the character that story was told to replied that it was foolish. that we mourn because it is proper and respectful. but never to let it control you...

@JLNobody,
the book series is called "the sandman", by neil gaiman (american gods, coraline, neverwhere)
it's a graphic novel book series, and the book this is from is "the wake". its a great book series, and makes you think. yes. it is a graphic novels, but its good anyways.

I hope that the autopsies prove they weren't victims of intentional foul play.
