@msolga,
It took me years to get a decent touch-typing score. Until I got the news from a rabid typer; you don't read the words, you just "see" the letters, and the fingers connect with what you see.

I wish they'd told me that in "type-easy" years ago. It works.

person says to another: "What! You, too?

@Strauss,
The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Anonymous AKA Walt Whitman wrote:

An American bard at last! One of the roughs, large, proud, affectionate, eating, drinking, and breeding, his costume manly and free, his face sunburnt and bearded, his posture strong and erect, his voice bringing hope and prophecy to the generous races of young and old. We shall cease shamming and be what we really are. We shall start an athletic and defiant literature. We realize now how it is, and what was most lacking. The interior American republic shall also be declared free and independent.

Walt Whitman AKA early Sock Puppet adopter when he submitted a book review to a newspaper on his own book.

I have a total irreverence for anything connected with society except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger,
the food cheaper and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer.

Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves.

“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.”

Wayne Campbell: No.

Wayne Campbell: No.
Garth Algar: Neither did I. I was just asking.

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

“What transforms this world is — knowledge. Do you see what I mean? Nothing else can change anything in this world. Knowledge alone is capable of transforming the world, while at the same time leaving it exactly as it is. When you look at the world with knowledge, you realize that things are unchangeable and at the same time are constantly being transformed.”
― Yukio Mishima, The Temple of the Golden Pavilion
