But every day is the beginning of a new year. Every hour. Every minute. Every second. Every milli-micro second and so on and so forth.

We have a system which deludes us into thinking we know what time is. We don't like not knowing things you see.

Although I must admit that Jan 1st might have been invented to stop us saying "happy new year" every milli-micro second because we would never get anything done if we did. Getting all our good wishes to all men over in one quick go.

You just don't like people knowing how long you spend on the bog.

I did think once of writing to Quaker Oats to offer my services for an ad which would double their sales.

I'm not surprised to hear that.
