Hi...
I expect I am in the wrong section of this place......
Used to come here last year when we posted paintings of fav artists as well as talk about em.. I expect u lot do... but not found the er..... visuals yet.. (help! Do u have any!!!!!?)..
Also ..... anyone in to Klimpt... collage \colour and sensuory etc?
Cheers.... (where are the paintings????)
Hey Boss, look up at the top left, and you'll see a link entitled: "View unanswered topics." If you click on that, you'll see that lots of people post their artwork, and no one has "responded." But if you look further, although there are no responses, people have viewed the page. Try that out, and also, click on "Forum Index" up above, just about in the center of the page, and then select the Art forum.
The posted art can often be found on The Raven's Realm, a precursor to a2k. There are sections for favorite art, and members art.

Thanks for posting the name Gustav Klimpt. Certainly a modern master in his own right. I'm glad to have refreshed my memory by looking him up.
You can still post art in the Raven's Realm albums and then link to the album(s) from this site. You can only upload from a URL to post images here, not from your hard drive as that opens security holes that Craven will eventually patch. To post an image that is in a pop up windows (like an enlargement from a museum site), right click on the image, click on "Properties" and you'll find the URL in the description. Highlight it and copy the the address, then click on image in the reply toolbar, enter the address and post. You can right click on many images and get the URL for that particular image but it works all the time with pop up individual images.

Your link didn't work with no space after the colon:

Your other link also doesn't work. Are you copying and pasting from the site address?
Thank u!! Hey - what do you think of Michael Whelan?
I liked his painting of the bare foot girl in the cornfield... it was one of the first images I found in the Realm last year when I fell in here... this lot.... not so sure..

Hi Sanndy,
Just want to say thanks for a great site. I love Klimt's work. But it's really best viewed by visiting the museum and seeing it first hand. Copies do not do justice to his work. The Belvedere in Vienna is such a beautiful place for seeing his work as well as the Secession in Vienna. Also, there is a building in Vienna that Klimt added the front facade to in the 1st District ( the old city ). It's worth the effort to see.
Walter, thank you for the great links! They are wonderful ( and all bookmarked ).
.....thanks danon.....will have to make the trip at some point..... cheers for the info.... appreciated....
Sanndy.
