I am in a planning stage with a contractor to build a fence:

Length: 178'
Total Height: 5'
Bottom Stone Height: 16"

It'll be stone/fake stone posts with 16" if stone running on bottom with wrought iron on top of that. It'll have two sliding gates, one is 16' and the other is 22'. Just for the iron part of the fence, not including the two gate motors or the electrical work needed to be done for them, and NOT including the stone/concrete work I was roughly quoted @ around $12,000. This is done in San Bernardino County, CA.

The concrete/stone guys will call me tomorrow and give me estimate for the concrete+stone.

So far, concerning the iron, am I being priced fairly? How much should the stone/concrete part be? I know I'll get an estimate tomorrow, but I would feel better knowing what it would normally cost.

I am also thinking about adding a second concrete driveway, approximately 16'x100'... what would that normally run?
