I would do nothing but close my eyes... What is going to happen next may be entertaining, but no one wants to see it, and it is too late to stop it...

Infinite power??? Well then, where would anyone have their power from, and if no one else had power, then where did the problems arise???

It is an error to presume that even God however great does not share power... Look at the history of human kind... At first there was only power, and people tried to tap into that power of nature however anthropomorphized into human form.... It took a long process and time before people began to see God as two, that is, a Good God, and an Evil God... Even our old testament God was a sonofabich... You did not want to get on his bad side, and it was hard to tell what side that might be since they were all bad... And plenty of people go to church praying for evil and cursing their neighbors and wishing every natural and unnatural disaster upon them for slight cause, and hell too, all the while saying they hate sin and love the sinner... They envy the sinner his sin, and do not see the suffering wtihin the heart of the sinner, but only the unrestrained joy of a freedom knowing no bounds...

No; people know they have slight power, but God has no need to fear us... The nature we cannot master is not the one without, but the one within, and mostly because we do not try...If humanity would only realize its slight power, then there would be no need of God, nor need to frame questions of power in absolutes... Just as with justice, and with freedom, all people need a certain amount to be happy and to succeed at survival, and that amount is ENOUGH... To an extent, God shares power with human beings... If human beings wish more power the only way to have it is to share their power with God, to do as God would do, to not go against the current of the universe, but to harmonize ones actions with it, with God... Humanity is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent... We just have to turn on and tune in to have our piece of the action...

My best day has no reference to perfection... I like what the Muslims say: that only Allah is perfect... They will start a job with a mistake in order to then freely concentrate on doing well... Perfection is the ruination of joy... Good enough is good enough, and after that, all effort bears no fruit but sterility...

this isnt a question of whether or not, as much as what if.

Like an English Jurist once reminded an attorney: There are no imaginary cases...
Hypotheticals are pretty much a waste of time... Morality is often framed by hypothetical situations... They never happen... What does happen is that people meet with unique moral situtions all the time and behave morally, amorally, or immorally depending upon their character... And the word ethics has that meaning of custom, or character... Moral people do morally..

It has nothing, exactly, to do with power... Most people never recognize the power they do have, or lose all trying to save their lives when in an immoral world their lives would be meaningless... I point often to the man who tried to kill Hitler in the Valkyirie attempt... In the end he lost his life, but if he had stayed and made certain of his efforts though it cost him his life, then he would be immortal...

If a thing is worth doing, it is worth dying over... No one can expect to win all without wagering all... So; it is not a matter of having the power of God, but of recognizing ones own power which is little different from knowing ones weakness, and so knowing all that makes people great...It is the want of knowledge that makes people so equivical in their actions... It is true as Socrates said that Knowledge is Virtue simply because when a person recognizes the limits of their knowledge they see the consequences of their actions, and do nothing rather than doing evil out of ignorance... Still, people, if they find themselves, and if they get a hold of their moral root will find themselves anchored, and can weather any storm... Immoral people are always furtively casting their gaze about, looking for some leader... If you know right, then do right... Don'[t wait for the mob to hide behind... Don't look for the violent expression of identity... Instead; it takes as much confidence and determination to resist evil as it does to strike out in futility... Don't act with futility... Think... Be your moral self... Make every effort count toward your goal...To use the power you possess is to act as God...
