Artist Angela Strassheim began her career as a forensic photographer in a crime lab. She soon left to focus on art full-time, but she didn’t entirely leave the field behind. Her body of work, Evidence, is a documentary art project created using forensic techniques she learned on the job. The striking, sometimes disturbing images ask the question: after a tragic event, what remains?

@tsarstepan,
Interesting.

I like the question that she's asking but I think I'd need to see more of the work before I could decide whether I think of it as "art". The images aren't that compelling on their own (to me) but I could change my mind after seeing them collected.

@boomerang,
Good point Boomerang. Hopefully the library has her photography book (if it exists) that I can gander through and investigate deeper.
