I was in the Seven-Eleven the other day and saw this product with all the other snacks:

The first thing I thought was – sounds like pot brownies - but can’t be. I was almost tempted to pick them up and at least read the package, but was in a hurry. Then last night I saw a news commercial for it, but missed it. Upon looking it up, I find that it is a melatonin-laced cake/brownie that is supposed to ease stress. Many towns are trying to ban this product. It is supposed to be for adults, but anyone can buy it. The package is one brownie, but the dosage is supposed to be half a brownie – for those that read the packaging.

But look at the package. It looks like a snack for kids. And kids can buy it. There have been reports of small children eating it and having to be hospitalized.

It was controversial and I have kept myself away from it.
