This is a rape field in Wiltshire. Many of the fields are bright yellow like this right now because the rape fields are in bloom.


This is Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. Stonehenge is up over that hill and about ten miles down that road.


This is a cemetary in Bentworth, Hampshire.


This is the interior of one of my favorite pubs in England - The Sun - in Bentworth. There's also a big blue's festival every summer in Bentworth. It's a nice village.

Thank you Panzade. I have a good friend who lives in Hampshire and to get there from Somerset, I have to drive across Wiltshire and it's become one of my favorite counties. It's so beautiful and really diverse - in Somerset you feel like you're in New England and within the space of an hour, you're in Wiltshire and you're on this huge rolling deforested plain and you feel like you're somewhere like Kansas or Nebraska.
My dad had been to England many times before I ever had, and when I told him I had the opportunity to live here he told me I'd love it and said, 'A perfect summer's day in England is more perfect than any other place I've ever been.'
He was right (in my opinion) and we've had three solid weeks of just incredibly perfect, blue, shiny summery days here.

Not a surprise..

I live in Southampton. My parents live just outside Wells, I've got a really good friend in Langport. Two weeks ago I was visiting the caves in Cheddar. We may well have driven past each other. Anyway if you live in Somerst you MUST, and I mean MUST visit Mudgely Cider Farm.

Here's a picture of my home town.

Wow Izzie- I live just outside of Wells and less than two miles from Mudgely and about four miles outside of Cheddar.

Chris Jagger (Mick's brother) lives in Mudgely and someone told me that Mick was in our little village's corner store one day last summer.
I was like, 'WHAT?!' I would have loved to have met him. I have met Chris- he sings too- has his own band. He's much handsomer than his brother, but yeah, Mick is more talented I think - you can hear why Mick is the one who made it big, as opposed to Chris. And I don't think Chris is a songwriter, while Mick is.

I really want to go to the Isle of Wight Festival - I think you take the hovercraft from Southampton, don't you? I've never been yet and I'm determined to get there this summer.
