@parados,
Nope. I am saying it's a tactic used among weak debaters to give them an edge.

@raprap,
So how many terrorists is this going to recruit? Gitmo and weaterboarding are said by the left to be recruiting tools. Gitmo is still open and enhanced interrogations led to the killing of Osama. Then we shoot their hero in the face while unarmed. Doesn't matter who we blame. The point is this....it's a recruiting tool.

@Renaldo Dubois,
I think it's about time you had a nap, you're getting a bit stressed out. You said

'Gitmo and weaterboarding are said by the left to be recruiting tools. Gitmo is still open and enhanced interrogations led to the killing of Osama'

Now we've already covered that it wasn't torture that lead to the killing of Bin Laden now matter how much Glen Beck shouts to the contrary. The reason Bin Laden was shot in the face Dick Cheney style is exactly the same reason Guantanamo Bay is still open. Unfortunately, the Great Country of the United States of America has a disproportionate number of cowardly gobshites like yourself. You can talk the talk, but when it comes to putting an Islamic terrorist on trial in one of your cities you **** your pants. Sorry that last remark was a bit below the belt, I was forgetting you **** your pants whenever you cough.

@izzythepush,
Absolutely nothing you said had anything to do with my point. I'll take a nap if you agree to lay off the meth.

@DrewDad,
Maybe you're the one who needs the nap. Looks to me that quite quite a few of you are squawking like crows since your theories have proven to be nothing but pigeon droppings.

No, the point is cost/benefit.

Waterboarding: low benefit, high cost

Eliminating Osama bin Laden (and capturing all of the intel when doing so): high benefit, low cost.

You keep trying to adopt the language of your opponents, but you don't really seem to grasp the fundamental ideas behind the language. You should try some independent thought.

I love the counterfactual universe you inhabit.

@DrewDad,
Now that's a good one. "independent thought". When is your President going to close Gitmo? He did say it was a recruiting tool for terrorists when he was a candidate. Looks like your President is recruiting more terrorists than Bush and Cheney ever dreamed of.

Common sense. It drives the left nuts.

'waterboading' is fine, 'waterboarding' is a war crime.

@JTT,
If waterboarding is a crime, what do you call shooting an unarmed human being in the face?

It might, but you have yet to demonstrate any.

@Renaldo Dubois,
In the case of OBL, an unfortunate act of war, in the case of Dick Cheney criminal negligence.

For all of the jokes that incident inspired, I can't see it as anything but a hunting accident.
