@Finn dAbuzz,
You leave Walter alone you nasty bastard. Calling yourself a Christian whilst advocating the use of torture and promoting a right-wing agenda is far more disrepectful and insulting to Christ than anything else, bar nailing up on the cross.

@failures art,
I didn't ask Walter about the Trinity. It's a rabbit trail. What I asked was is he believes Jesus Christ is God. It's a simple Christian for a mature Christian.

The fact you, Walter and your pals are confused about doesn't mean everyone else is.

@Walter Hinteler,
So you want to leave the Catholic Church?

@Walter Hinteler,
If you don't know who Jesus is, then how can you follow him?

The Catholic Church believes Jesus is God. The Catholic church does not believe Jesus is "part of God". The Catholic Church believes the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three separate persons, yet One God.

You are not a Catholic by choice. What you have is a form of religion, Walter. You don't even know who your God is.

Just to clarify:

- I am a Catholic by choice,
- I don't know who gave RD that above quoted wrong opinion,
- I don't know RD nor am I aware that he knows me.

Regarding what the doctrines of the Catholic church about God are, I like to post it again:

@Walter Hinteler,
Look at your chart. Notice the part where it says SON. Now notice the arrow points to God, just like the arrow from Father points to God, yet they are separate persons. Ask a Priest, Walter. He will tell us what I just did. THREE PERSONS, ONE GOD.

Your chart says The Son is God, The Father is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.

@Renaldo Dubois,
I wasn't addressing that last statement to you. I despise bullies, and it's obvious Walter is being bullied. What difference does Walter's beliefs make to you? Anyway you said

It's a simple Christian for a mature Christian.

So which are you simple or mature? And don't you think that sounds just a bit gay?

I see your confusion. Walter is not the Catholic Church. You may want to keep that distinction clear in your mind.

@DrewDad,
Actually, that is what the Catholic Church teaches (and it is the translation of a short reply, which I got from a school friend, who's a cardinal, archbishop, and professor of theology).

But I've look it up as well: from an Evangelical website, which does so under the headline: "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God." (Mathew, 22.29)

@izzythepush,
I am instructing Walter in his religion and what it's doctrines are. That is not "bullying". Please try to control your emotions.

How do you "sound gay"? Are you making fun of gays with speech impediments? that's not nice. In fact, I think you're bullying homosexuals.

According to you he sounds like he does. I consider the source and find it lacking big time. You have absolutely zero knowledge of Christianity or Islam. All you have is your baby talk.

I didn't refer to you as a bully. I was refering to Finn. I just said your last phrase sounded a bit gay, which is not what you normally hear from evangelicals. I'm sorry to hear about your speech impediment. If you've got a thing for Lederhosen fair enough.

My source: member of the (Holy See's) Congregation for Catholic Education, member of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, professor for Christian Social Ethics ....
But since he wrote in his book ("Das Kapital: A Plea for Man") that the worldwide financial crisis required a "fundamental social debate" and raised questions about the capacity of contemporary economies to "ensure the welfare of the world" ....

Well, you really are extraordinary ....

I was not referring to you. I was referring to rat trap.

When you explain your religion, you really need to know what you're saying, Walter. Jesus is not "part" of God. According to Catholicism, God is three PERSONS. They are separate PERSONS. One God. Look at your own chart.

I guess, considering that you know very little about language and that you often make the same silly little "mistakes", that you've probably decided to stop ragging on people about their "missteaks", eh, Ren?

@Renaldo Dubois,
As said, Trinity isn't just a Catholic thing - it's shared by all major (Catholic, Orthodox, Evangelical/Protestant) churches in Europe.

But carry on your good work, Your Eminence.
