I thought Cleo's character design was relatively tame:
I used to watch Catillac Cats as a kid. But people still managed to take this character and objectify it.
Then later on, they came out with Minerva on Animaniacs:
They made her the butt of a bunch of sex jokes in show that was meant for kids.
They tried making Lola in Space Jam sort of like a pin-up:
All of that was not neccessary.
