The idea that language may have played a role in early human migration is not without controversy surrounding the likely gist of the earliest communications.

"Goodness it's crowded" has it's supporters but "I'm hungry" is considered to be a more likely candidate for causing the rift.

Linguistic paleontologists have given the thumbs up to the epiglottis as the root cause of the chattering.

Yes, but that tower became a place where everyone talked at each other and no one could understand anything anyone else was saying---wait....I might have that mixed up with Washington.
