Pleeease tell me what kind of bug this is???!!

I was going to guess flying ants but from this it looks more like termites -- eek:

are they usually as big as they are in the picture i uploaded? i thought they were smaller than that.

no real answer, but in case someone can give you more info, but doesn't want to open an unknown link, here's the picture

and since soz had already commented, i was sure the pic was of a bug, but some folks might still pass it by or not be bothered to have to look at it, not trying to be a dick about anything, trying to make it easier for the guy/gal/person

take some popsicle sticks or throat depressors and soak them in sugar water. Then stick them in the ground all around your house foundation. ABout a week later come back and, youll see where the main entry point is cause they will chew on the popsicle stick. Those are definately termites. This is swarming time in the Eastern and SOuthern US (except for Northern New England where swrming is several weeks into April or early May.

i called the exterminator, he/she will be here monday between 10 and noon. thank god. i hate bugs

I'm neutral about most bugs and really like some of them, but termites give me the heebie-jeebies (I don't want them eating my house). Glad the exterminator is on the way, and good luck!

Can't you just feed them sugar soaked popsicle sticks?
