When my older daughter was just a toddler, she loved to watch Bugs Bunny cartoons and was inspired by his example to consume many carrots. Her poop went from brown to orange.
As someone who is sensitive to racist attitudes, I do not believe that Daffy was intended to be a black caricature. Foghorn Leghorn (don't know if I got the name right) was inspired by a white Southern U.S. Senator, but he was still a buffoon. So, I seriously doubt that Daffy is a racist caricature.
I definitely agree with you that Daffy deserves a star on the Walk of Fame.

I didn't say Daffy WAS a racist caricature. They had some black "human" characters who were.
