Non-stick for eggs, cast iron for everything else. Egg pan never gets washed, only wiped out.

I have cast iron, stainless, and coated. Love them all, and use them for different things. I have also put my coated ones in the dishwasher on occasion and notice that I haven't died yet or become green or pasty so all those warnings are probably hogwash.

@roger,
I suppose they are nice and crunchy but, alas, I am too hostile.

@ossobuco,
Don't ask me about marinated goatheads. I suppose that will kick up about five years from now. Collection should be easy.
