The Flint Journal,
Flint, Mich. 03/21/11
Around 12:30 p.m., two hooded and armed men entered the Jules
Market in Flint, Mich. One of the robbers stayed by the door to
act as a lookout, while the other drew a gun, went behind the
counter and demanded money from the store owner.
After giving the criminal the $10 and $20 bills, the owner asked
the criminal if he wanted the $1 and $5 bills. The criminal
demanded the money, but as the owner reached for the bills with one hand,
he retrieved a gun with the other and shot and killed the criminal.
The owner then turned his attention to the lookout and fired,
but the criminal fled the store.
