Seeing we are hamster friendly here - I thought you like the story of this poor guy's plight. There are only an estimated 500 left.

After reading about him - I'd really like him as a pet. He can roar - how cool is that? And often times a female in heat will kill a male she doesn't like.

We must save our hamster cousins!

@engineer,
In reading the article, they have been having a problem mating them as in the wild at least the male gets an opportunity to run away - they can't in a cage so the mating hasn't been as successful as they hoped.

It would be wonderful to be able to do that in the human world - we'd get rid of alot of creeps that way.

Yeah but at least they get to mate.

This chick hamster decides she doesn't like the male that wants some action, so instead of having fun, she kills him. And waits for one worthy of her.
