I think the seagulls could be crew members.

I am writing a comic about streetfighting cats and dogs and some of the cats and dogs keep watchdogs as pets. What's wrong with that?

That is actually very confusing, sir. A rooster maitre d', a seagull pilot, and a duck flasher, arguing about some rubber ducks? The only thing about that image that makes sense is the fact that it makes sense to you.

That is Darkwing Duck, left, in the purple costume, and his sidekick Launchpad McQuack, standing behind him, and that rooster with the metal beak is Steelbeak, their enemy. Steelbeak was a recurring villain in this show-he was the top agent of F.O.W.L. - the Fiendish Organization of World Larceny.

The point I am making with this pic is that THERE ARE TWO ANTHROPOMORPHIC DUCKS standing there in a room FULL OF RUBBER DUCKIES, which would imply NATURALISTIC DUCKS co-exist with them in the same universe.

Other than the fact in some pirate films ravens pecked people's eyes out I don't know of any other such correlation.

You miss the point- they MUST HAVE NON-ANTHROPOMORPHIC DUCKS in that cartoon universe. RUBBER DUCKS are based on NON-ANTHROPOMORPHIC DUCKS.

No. Rubber ducks are based on actual ducks, and predate cartoon ducks, so put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.

Also, I know what "anthropomorphic" means. Nevertheless all fowl in the above image are cartoons.
