Many ideas are out there about this earth being destroyed but I never hear about what happens to us. Do you have any idea where we go after we die or what we'll do when we get there?

@bjhulk,
well...after armagedon...the earth is to be ridded of evil....not destroyed....those who god need in heaven will go....thise who were exceptional people will live forever upon earthly paradise...those who fail to akcnoledge god will simply remain in the grave of hell(with is not a place nor torment but simply a graveyard so to speak)

@bjhulk,
I think earth is a small place in what is a multi-dimensional universe. I believe that if earth reaches a point where it can no longer sustain life, people will incarnate in a place unknown to us right now.
I would have to believe that is a worst case scenario.
The belief that earth will be transformed into a new earth exists in Christianity but perhaps it that idea has also found its way into spiritual beliefs outside of Christianity. New age beliefs about people becoming clairvoyant and spiritually aware in the coming decades are optimistic about people changing. I have to say, I'm not so sure about that.

We won't go anywhere after we die, because there will be no "we" to do the going. That's what "dying" means.

@bjhulk,
There is no magical place to go when you die. Just enjoy life because when it's over, it's game over man.

Yes. And when they grow up they will all vote for Rick Perry.

@Lustig Andrei,
If he's still around, you have that right. But, why would you vote for Rick Perry? I would really like to know.

If you're the kind of person who wonders where you'll go when there is no "where" any more, voting for Perry probably makes sense to you.

To understand where you're going it seems you have to understand where you are- what reality is. Probably a lot of people don't really have an answer for that. I look at something like the Columbine killings where the shooters ended up killing themselves. I guess they thought if they shot themselves that would be the end of it. But how do they know? How can they be so certain that is the end. I suppose a close minded person would assume that all there is consists of what they can see. Not everyone thinks that way. Some people look for something more, something beyond what they can see with their eyes.
The bible talks about a new heaven and a new earth.

Seriously, I'm a Frisbeetarian. I believe that when we die, our soul goes up on the roof where no one can ever retrieve it.
