what would make the car start up and then go back to the car and it don't want to start up would it be one of them big black fuses in the hood i wonder because my moms x husband done something to make it not want to start up last year and now sens his dad wanted the car off his lot i had it towed over to my house and it starts up but dies out what would make it do this and i know he did something to the car because he left a tool in the hood and unplugged the starter wire cuz he don't want her to have a car if he did he would at least try and help her a little with the car but he wasn't doing **** to help just messing it up more he cant now that its at my house.
Could be anything . . . distributor cap, fuel filter, etc.
Do you have a buddy who could look at it?
BTW - could you use sentences and put in periods after each thought? I can hardly understand what you are asking.

how long does it run before it dies.
(it's not the starter wire causing the problem)
