No, it's not just JD's ideas. It's also his tactics--deliberately baiting others on the topics of religion and race. And his actual behavior--insulting, name calling, telling others he doesn't care what they think, etc. Then he goes on the defensive--why are you mocking me, why are you spamming me, doesn't anyone like me, I'm only expressing my beliefs, etc. This is classic troll behavior.
I'm not bothered by the religious beliefs JG, or anyone else, holds, and I'm really not disturbed by how he feels about his own, or other, racial groups. So, it isn't really his ideas. He has very few ideas. He just repeats the same few religious catchwords and phrases, and the same few simplistic remarks about race--and they are designed to be provocative, to set up an antagonistic interchange with other posters, but they are not intended to stimulate discussion. JG doesn't want to actually discuss anything, he just wants to provoke and poke--he wants attention, and he wants to manipulate. His annoyance at Butrflynet, and others, who posted info about his past behaviors on other Web sites, is because it reveals his pattern, his modus operandi as a troll.
About one page back, when his religious remarks were generating more sarcasm than ire from other posters, JG must have decided he had to stir the pot a little, so, totally out of the blue, he suddenly starts throwing race into the mix by saying...

Religion, race, some homophobia, feigned innocence about his tactics, constantly typing in caps--but generally only in the threads where he is being deliberately provocative--this is his strategy. He plays dumb, but all the time is busy trying to control and manipulate. At the moment, he's retreated a little and has actually started a few threads where he's not throwing in religion and race, he's back to playing the clueless aspiring artist, or mostly disingenuously asking questions he could easily answer for himself by just using Google. But, a troll is a troll, is a troll. This one just happens to have crafted a persona that's as one dimensional and lacking in depth as the cartoons he is always talking about. It's a persona that's a trifle quirky, which is why people become initially intrigued, but he ultimately generates the same sort of irritation, anger, conflict, and disruption, as any other troll does on a forum board, and even his entertainment value fast becomes repetitive and boring. JG needs to fast get some new material if he wants to keep this troll routine going sucessfully.
