That go for most things you bring in a religious viewpoint to the table.

Faith is faith and is outside being question so all we can do is agree on is that the gentleman had a problem because of his faith with this art form and once more so what.

@BillRM,
If it's not glorifying God it's glorifying the Devil.

God hates evil.

I hate how most comics have some element of witchcraft in the stories. God says witchcraft is an abomination.

@BillRM,

If any of the following are involved:

1. demonic characters
2. characters that use witchcraft
3. blasphemous/sacreligious characters
4. objectified female characters
5. fanservice

then yes, those types of comics go against my beliefs as a Christian.

FIXED.

Comics can do WITHOUT the ELEMENT of WITCHCRAFT.
This is why the world needs more CHRISTIAN characters.

Your problem is to me and a large number of people this is a completely irrational claim on the same level as if you had stated that the great cat god of the universe had declare all dogs as an abomination in her eyes.

You have an irrational dislike of some comics and so once more why should the rest of us care one way or another.

From the comments here most of us on this thread no matter what religion believes they happen to hold do not seem to share this dislike of your toward comics.

@JGoldman10,
The hobby is t00 expensive. Some of the story lines go past more then one issue and for someone with a limited real world budget must choose subscription or not bother at all.

I tend not to be bothered by the comics wild and crazy content. I'm not a religious fanatic with morals issues. Comics are fiction.

Not all comics have to deal with the supernatural/superheroe world.

@tsarstepan,
The nearest thing I seen as proof of the supernatural is the H Potter books with young children lining up at midnight to get their hands on thousand pages books written at a fairly high level.

@tsarstepan,
I am not a FUNDAMENTALIST- they don't accept the whole Bible as truth. They take the Bible too literally instead of analyzing the Scriptures and pick and choose what Scriptures they feel applies to them.

I don't do that-I accept everything in the Bible as true but I don't take everything literally-some Scriptures require analysis.

Harry Potter is GLORIFIED WITCHCRAFT. It makes it look like harmless fun.

true-there are other kinds of heroes BESIDES superheroes as I pointed out in another thread.

But MANY comics fringe on being pornographic. I don't look at those.

So you wish for us to give weight to your personal interpretations of that interesting book and my question is even if you begin your own cult why we should do so.

@JGoldman10,
By the way when can we look forward to your version of the bible becoming available so the rest of us can know what we should follow or not follow in that book?

Thomas Jefferson wrote his own version after all but I had a feeling that he took far too must out of it for you to be happy with his version.
